years, fandom conventions have undergone a significant change, as genre
and medium specific events have begun to lose ground to more mutlifandom
interests. This discussion panel looks at how fandom cross-polination
has altered the convention dynamic, changed the culture, and redefined
how fans practice their fandom. Audience participation is encouraged.
